Looking for a Copyeditor?
Do you write young adult or clean fiction? Are you looking to polish your work and increase your chances of reaching readers? If so, I would love the opportunity to work alongside you! A copyeditor’s job is to pay attention to all the small but important details of grammar, punctuation, spelling, and fact-checking, refining the manuscript for ease of reading and professionalism. So whether you’re a self-publishing author, planning to submit to anthologies and contests, or pursuing traditional publishing, as a copyeditor I will make it my goal to provide you with the highest possible success rate.
As a longtime writer and reader of fiction, the art of story is indelibly important to me. My passion is to see more life-changing stories find their way to the hearts of readers. If you are a writer, your words matter. No one else can tell a story quite like you can. With a sincere understanding of how much sweat, time, and tears go into the creation of a book or short story, I want to make it possible for your words to reach the readership they are meant for.
Background and Education
I have been writing fiction for over fifteen years, completing a total of five manuscripts as well as a collection of short stories and hundreds of poems, some of which have been published in anthologies. I am a member of the Realm Makers writers community and am currently pursuing traditional publishing for my YA manuscripts. I have a keen eye for detail and have often been asked by fellow writers to look over their work. I am an intern and beta reader for Twenty Hills Publishing as well as a graduate from both the copyediting course and copyediting mentorship course offered through Editorial Arts Academy, taught by Susannah Noel.
Please reach out with any inquiries or a personalized quote! I offer a free sample edit and/or a complimentary fifteen-minute consult to help determine what stage your manuscript is at and to answer any questions. My current rates are listed below. I look forward to hearing from you and learning more about your writing!
